All governments are in a way creative when it comes to inventing new taxes. Under a little coat of a so-called 'environmental tax', the German government starts phasing in new rip offs for travelers. In order to meet their austerity targets -cuts in their budgets are always secondary means- tax hikes are their new cup of tea.
What would you say if the Obama administration charged you an extra 30 bucks for every domestic flight departure?
