Niagara Falls (Canada, U.S.) and Niagara on the Lake are really nice vacation locations - for sure. Toronto is great city as well - for shopping, I can recommend 'The Bay'.

To and from Toronto, you can use a casino shuttle bus for some bucks and you get chips for the casino in Niagara Falls.
